School Libraries Video Project

In order to create a video advocating the role of school libraries in Manitoba we are asking for your help collecting film segments from students, teachers, parents and administrators .

We are looking for:

Student testimonials

Parent feedback or testimonial

Comments from Administrators

Teacher opinions

Teacher-librarian and/or Library Technician comments

Possible questions or prompts for these short video segments include:

What does the school library mean to you?”

How has the school library or teacher-librarian supported you or your child?” (for students or parents)

How has the school library or teacher-librarian supported or affected your practice?” (for teachers)

How does the teacher-librarian or learning commons fit into your vision of the 21st century school?”

How has the school library or teacher-librarian positively impacted your school?” (for admin)

If you would like to participate in this video, please fill in the form below and we will arrange for a student film crew to visit your school.  Alternatively, if you can take high quality video yourself, please indicate that on the form below, and we will make arrangements to collect it once you have filmed. We will provide media release forms when we visit/collect the video.
