About the event

"Building Bridges: Spaces, Places, and Possibilities," encourages educators to explore the creation of safe and diverse spaces for learning, play, and growth within K-12 classrooms, makerspaces, and school library learning commons. The conference offers a unique blend of in-person and virtual learning opportunities, all focused on practices in makerspace, literacy, classroom technology, intellectual freedom, curating library collections, diversity in cataloging, and collaborative efforts between Teacher Librarians and Classroom Teachers. In person and virtual options. 

Session Information: During the conference, attendees can choose from an array of insightful sessions designed to empower educators and promote meaningful learning experiences. Here's a glimpse of the available sessions:

Keynote: TiBert (Rob Malo)

His latest project is a multilingual augmented reality audio tour app of St.Boniface called Histoire cachée - In Plain Sight, and this will be the focus of his presentation. The audience will learn how Rob was able to build new relationships with indigenous partners to ensure that the creation process was a community effort that offers a more balanced view of local French-Métis history.
